Comments about Cross Cross Affinity Rollerball Pen Jewel Blue:

I recently purchased the blue Affinity ball point and rollerball as a gift for a friend. I also purchased the new Cross, two pen leather case with 2 snaps in the burgundy red. I ordered from different suppliers and had all sent to my home where I could inspect the items. These pens have a very lustrus shine. The resin appears to be top quality and the weight is perfect. The trim is high quality and very highly polished. In the past I have been put off by Cross pens as they are typically too skinny and usually metal based which makes for uneven weights when writing. Well, this line has a very nice diameter and the resin weight and 'feel' is spot-on. Usually manufacturers make their ball pens and rollerballs of unequal length. Here Cross did a great job of making them the same so they don't look odd in a case or on a table together. Finally, the rollerball takes their super fills and can be a highlighter, rollerall or giant ball pen. The new case was gorgeous and for $35 very competitive with other cases for 2 pens. My friend got the pens and was very excited as they fit her hands perfectly and write smoothly. Needless to say I am very impressed by this new line and would give it a 4.5 star if I could.
