Hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office. To obtain this mark each pencil/pen has to be tested by the Assay Office to make sure the silver is up to British Standard (.925). The finishes are hand chased by master craftsmen. From sheet silver through eight different processes, the craftsman creates the unique clip which is individually numbered. Each Victorian pen is hand hammered at least two thousand times to create its distinctive pattern. This elegantly styled miniature sized pen has been introduced into the Yard-O-Led range to complement the Viceroy family range. The fountain pen has an 18kt solid gold nib.

This pen is a great pen that will last a long time. However, it does need to be cleaned alot, it seem's to start looking old and beat up after just afew days of use. This is fix however, by cleaning it with the cleaning rag. Then it will look like new again.
