Comments about Waterford Waterford Claria Fountain Pen Red:
This pen is well-made--mostly metal, and the turnings are very precise and smooth. The barrel, however, is of slightly lower quality. The lacquer coating is thin and scratches quite easily. Like most fountain pens, the barrel is roomy enough to hold an ink cartridge plus a refill, or a single liquid ink adapter (included in the package).
The cold metal grip is not the most comfortable thing in the world for extended periods of writing, but the writing is smooth and consistent and well-suited to casual jotting or note-taking.
