I decided I wanted to try using a fountain pen; thanks to this one, I've purchased more and avoid using anything else. The cap can stay off for over an hour and the ink still flows freely upon contact with paper (unlike my pelikan, which dries up in seconds). Included ink works well, and once that's exhausted the converter is a piece of cake to use. You even get a gold (plated) nib! Excellent value. I need to buy some more as gifts before they're gone.
