This is a wonderful pen. It fits the hand nicely and is very comfortable. I prefer I slightly heavier pen and this pen is close to my preferred weight. The resin barrel makes it lighter than Mont Blanc's metal offerings. My only issue is that the supplied black ink cartridge is not very smooth at all. I get better writing from my $6 Paper Mate. The blue ink refill, however, is a joy and more appropriately provides the Mont Blanc experience. My next Mont Blanc will be the Starwalker Midnight Black Metal for that heavy weight feel.
