I needed a carry-on for a week-end trip to New York. The McKlein Laptop Briefcase was the perfect choice for me. Fits perfectly in the overhead compartment and has room for everything you need for a week-end trip. The price was outstanding compared to other retailers and the briefcase that is included is superior to others I've owned at twice the price.

"I purchased the McKlein P Series Bag and the zippers failed after about 2 years. They do not replace zippers or repair the bag and recommended the "Chicago" in 2007 because of its warranty. I travel frequently and liked the removable bag from wheels for commuter flights. So I bought the Chicago in 2007. The side of the bag SPLIT at a seam which make it irreparable according to McKlein. I have gone back and forth with their customer service, and their "Limited Lifetime Warranty" is bull because they cannot repair the bag and will not replace it. I am returning another bag I was going to buy from them as a gift. For the price, you might as well upgrade to someone else who will honor their warranty. They offered me 50% off full retail which is close to what the bags sell for on the web. In summary, I own two McKlein Bags of this type, both of which have broken and mfg. will not replace or honor their warranty. WARNING: DO NOT BUY any McKlein products, they don't honor warranties."

This is a well made, professional looking travel bag for the frequent business traveler. Can hold both work materials and a few days clothing. It is just what I was looking for.

This is a great bag and very useful for me. I use it to carry two lap tops, one 17" in the main and one 15" in the brief case portion and works very well.
It does not fit in the over heads of samll planes (prop and regional jets). will work well in big jets though. So plan accoridngly. You can dismount the attachable roller platform and take out the brief case and fit into regional jets.
All in all I like it and would recommend for those who have multiple devices to carry along.
