Waterman Pens

Waterman Pens was founded by Lewis Edson Waterman who began his career as an insurance salesman. As the tale goes, when he lost a large contract due to his faulty fountain pen he set out to create the "Ideal" pen. His goal appears to be accomplished with many successful Waterman pen collections such as the Waterman Hemisphere and Waterman Carene collections. To this day, many Waterman products still bear the "Ideal" emblem, signifying Waterman's tradition of excellence in writing.
