Tried to Live Wthout, 8/4/2011

I had a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck for years that I used exclusively. We misplaced it when we moved. (still wondering about that) I tried to live without it, but that was just too much to ask. I'm currently looking for it's replacement. I am going to go with a pen and pencil set this time.

This pen is an exact replacement for my seventeen year companion. I have missed my pen so much that I have been putting off even signing checks. It is funny how a pen can become a part of you! My only negative thought is the cost----but then, again, I thought my Mercedes and Rolex were a bit on the pricey side. You get what you pay for!!! (the best)

Medium point, black ink refills last less than a month. Asked dealer if they are only filled with 1/2in of ink, and of course they have no clue. I do not do a lot of writing, but I have never been able to get more than a month out of a refll. I can tell when it start to skip or when I have to scribble a few times to get it started, it is only a matter of time before it goes empty. My 20 cent BIC pen writes longer.

excellent pen. the most recognized pen model in the mont blanc line-up. If you are not sure which mont blanc to buy, get this one. Handle with care the barrel is prone to cracking/breaking in teh event of hard falls. More classy than anything else

You can never go wrong with a Mont Blanc in your hand!! It is like writing with silk. As a professional whose written words can mean the difference between life and death I have a difficult time using any other writing instrument.
